General Terms and Conditions apply to all BLOU offers, products, orders, agreements and deliveries. When you order an item, you agree to these terms. So read it carefully before placing an order. If you have any questions about these conditions, please contact BLOU at info@blou.amsterdam

Pricing
All items in the webshop are unique and handmade in Amsterdam by one of the three goldsmiths of BLOU. We will adjust the jewelry to fit your personal requests (such as size, colour and shape) if necessary before shipping.
Prices as mentioned in the webshop are inclusive taxes and exclusive shipping costs.

BLOU offers the following payment options: Ideal /Direct bank transfer/ Creditcard / Paypal/ Bancontact

Cancelling an order

If you want to change or cancel an order, you should do so as soon as possible and before shipment. You can do this by e-mail or telephone (+31 20 3203202). Changing or cancelling your custom made order is only possible if this has not been made yet.
If reproducing the item again and this cannot be done for the same price as listed on the website, or if BLOU has posted accidentally an incorrect price, we will contact you. In this situation each party has the right to cancel the order, and the payment will be refunded.

Shipping Policy

Shipment processing time. Thank you for visiting and shopping at BLOU. We do our best to ship your order as quickly as possible. All orders of items that are in stock and don’t need changes, are processed within 1-2 business days. If you like to order an item in a different size, colour or shape then we will adjust this item or make a new one for you. If this will effect the price, we will inform you in advance. This will take 1-4 weeks, when an order is placed we will inform you about the delivery time so you know when to expect your package.
If you need something by a specific date, please leave a note at checkout or email us before placing an order. We will give our best to accommodate your requests.

Shipment confirmation & Order tracking
You will receive a Shipment Confirmation email once your order has shipped containing your tracking number(s). The tracking number will be active within 24 hours.

Customs, Duties and Taxes
BLOU is not responsible for any customs and taxes applied to your order. All fees imposed during or after shipping are the responsibility of the customer (tariffs, taxes, etc.).

Damages
BLOU will take the highest care to wrap your parcel carefully, and is not liable for any products damaged or lost during shipping. If you received your order damaged, please contact the shipment carrier to file a claim.
Please take a picture of the damaged parcel before opening and save all packaging materials and damaged goods before filing a claim at the shipment carrier.

Shipping rates
Shipping fee for domestic parcels is €10,-
Shipping fee for parcels within Europe is € 40,-
Shipping fee for parcels outside Europe is €50,-
Free shipping worldwide for order above € 450,-

Return & Refund
Our jewelry is made with love and attention. If you are not satisfied with the product that you have received, you may return the unworn and undamaged item in it’s original packaging within 7 working days. Custom designs or rings that we altered or made according to your taste are not returnable. Notify us by email (info@blou.amsterdam) in advance before shipping.
The shipping costs and insurance costs for the parcel are for the customer returning the parcel. Return the parcel with original invoice, notice your name, email, phone number and address inside and send it insured and with a track & trace code to:

We will contact you once we have received your parcel and when the item is undamaged and not worn we will refund the item (without shipping / insurance costs) within 10 days after receiving your parcel. Refund wil be done towards the same bank account as the item has been payed from.
You may only return items bought online in our webshop, for other items bought in our store and repairs please contact us HERE
Please notice: BLOU is not responsible for the return shipping costs and arrival. We strongly advice you to insure your return parcel, if the parcel gets damaged or lost during return shipping we cannot refund the item.

Returning a gift
Items received as gifts may be exchanged for another item of equal value. Please ensure that the item is returned in unworn condition within 7 business days from the delivery date of your order. Contact us prior to shipping.

Damaged / wrong item
If you have received the wrong item, or the item is damaged, contact us immediately (but at least within 7 days after receiving the parcel) by email.

Warranty
We take the highest care to make jewelry that will last long, but as with any piece of jewelry, care must be taken. If the product you have received doesn’t meet your expectations, inform us within 7 days after delivery.
The products bought at BLOU webshop are under warranty for a year after purchase. We will repair, replace or refund faulty items and require a copy of proof of purchase in order to do so. The warranty lapses if the product has defects caused by improper use, or if you or others have made or attempted changes to the product, or if it has been used in a manner that the item is not intended for.
If you notice that your piece of jewelry needs attention (for instance if a stone can move) please contact us. To enjoy your jewelry for a long time, we advise to have it checked regularly by our team of goldsmiths

Legal policy
All legal matters that arise are handled according to Dutch law

Privacy policy
We will not sell, share or trade any information you supply to us with a third party. All information we collect is used to provide you with a better shopping experience. We use your data for order confirmations, for making invoices, check payments, send order updates and delivery notifications. If you have subscribed to our newsletter we will keep you up to date on our jewelry. If you wish to stop receiving our messages, you can ‘unsubscribe’ at the bottom of our newsletter.
